Spirit
Our Spirit is the part of ourselves that gives us the spark of life. In Yoga we often call it Prana. Sometimes it is called Chi. Yet it is so much more than that. It is the part of ourselves that is bigger than we could ever imagine. The part that connects us with all that is. Sometimes people call it God or the Divine, the Universe. It is in essence the mystery of life and the mystery that lies within each of us.
Reiki
Reiki is a hands on healing art, where the practitioner channels prana to you for your Spirit to use for whatever healing it desires. It sounds a bit crazy, but it really works, just think how wonderfully comforting it is to have someone gently touch you with healing thoughts. We even do this to ourselves when we bump our elbow or hit our heads. Our hands immediately go to the affected area - offering comfort if not healing. I offer private Reiki sessions, traditional and combined with Restorative Yoga.
Astrology
For millennia we have been looking to the heavens to guide us. To guide our physical ships at sea as well as our lives. The moon pulls at the oceans, and our bodies are 80% water - so why wouldn't we be affected by the heavens? Aren't we part of the Universe? By looking up at the stars and planets and how their relationship when we were born can gives us insights to the tools we have to live more fully and completely. It is true what they say 'As above, so below - as within so without'. I offer private sessions where we can look more deeply in to your chart and at the dances that are unfolding there.
Shamanic Breathwork
Shamanic Breathwork is a deep cyclic breath that is used to facilitate an altered state where you are able to journey into the depths of your being, This journey is supported by music that is organized in such a way as to activate your chakras. Chakras are energy centers in the body. Each energy center is responsible for processing and integrating experiences in the your body, mind and spirit. The purpose of these journeys are to help release old patterns and heal old wounds that hold you back from being your most vibrant self. I offer group breathwork sessions four times per year around the equinoxes and the solstices. You can also schedule your own private breathwork session.
