21 degrees Libra This Full Moon April 10, 2017 at 11:08pm is about balance, conscious equal partnership not just in relationships, but in all aspects of our lives. One on one relationships, our relationship with our work, with our home, our car, TV, Facebook, food, exercise, where ever we connect with something that is outside of ourselves. The question is, “…is it in balance?” Balance is not just 50%, 50%, balance can be a ration, a little of that, a pinch of this, a lot of the other. The perfect balance of ingredients, creates an optimum growing and living environment. If the balance of water, nutrients, sunshine, and temperature don’t combine properly, if the ration is wrong, the seeds that are planted will not grow, they will be unable to come to fruition. Conversely, if the ratio, balance of inputs favor the weed, and not the seed we desire, then the weed will grow in the preferred plants place. Everything in our life is a combination of inputs. Some of our inputs are tangible and conscious, many of our inputs are subconscious. They are beliefs and perceptions that have been growing, for better or worse, in our mental garden. Some of these seeds were planted by our parents, our heritage, our culture, the color of our skin, a teacher in school, our economic status, the media we grew up with, etc. This full moon’s ration of planetary influences gives us a boost for some inner gardening and the ability to draw tangible results of that inner work into our outer world, if we choose. Saturn (structure, foundations) along with the North Node (life purpose) and Mercury (our voice, the way we communicate) are in a beautiful dance, working harmoniously. Saturn can help us excavate what it is we truly want to do, the North Node and Mercury, gives us the place to speak that truth, if only to ourselves. Mercury is retrograde so this journey is mostly an inward unfolding. It may also be one of revisiting a dream you had before but for some reason set it aside. This inward revealing of aspects of our life purpose, can only happen with the utilization of some other planetary helpers. Venus represents the sacred feminine and love and is also retrograde, turning her attentions inward. Chiron, the wounded healer, is deeply attached to Venus in this full moon, asking us to heal old heart wounds. Wounds around relationships, and the feminine in particular. Sun and Uranus are together, giving us the fuel and the ingenuity to make or accept necessary change. Saturn is in favorable relationship with both the Sun and Uranus, helping us to create a solid foundation for the changes we are experiencing. The elements are here for a great personal breakthrough, if we are willing to heal our heart wounds, breaking down our old tapes in our heads around what is feminine, what is love, releasing old hurts and old perceptions. In effect weeding our internal garden of the weeds that strangle out love and the feminine aspects from our lives. Each of us have a feminine aspect even if we are male, just as we have a masculine self if we are female. The goal is to create a sacred marriage between the two, where both are honored and both are in balance, in their optimal ratio. Connecting with our own personal inner feminine and our own personal programs and tapes around love, relationship and the feminine can be a challenge because, we are in effect, blind to our own patterns. It is sometimes hard to see the weeds from the plants we want to nurture in our inner garden. So the question remains, how do we excavate, uncover our hidden selves? We dive into the primordial waters of the “Mother” Herself. We can use our breath, as the vehicle to dive deep and steep in vastness of the ocean of collective consciousness that connects us all. It is in this collective, connected space we can see our patterns more clearly because it is in here that we are not bound by our programs, we are free and untethered. This Full Moon, find time to gaze at the moon, allow it’s light to illuminate your inner garden. Perhaps do some balancing yoga postures like, Vrksasana (tree pose) or Ardha Chandrasana (Half-moon pose). While in these poses, ponder, what ration of effort is exerted by my eyes, or feet or arms to complete this shape. And then, what can you soften, so your heart can open and let go.
