The Architect New Moon January 16, 2018 at 6:17pm 26 degrees Capricorn Hello Friends,
I apologize for getting this New Moon interpretation to you so late. The New Moon was the evening of January 16th. As some of you may know, I have been sick with bronchitis. In an effort to get well quickly, I have let a lot of my normal activities go and have chosen to rest instead. However, I did want to get something out to you as we are still in the shadow of this New Moon cycle and this New Moon is powerful in that it is leading up to an Eclipse on January 31st. The New Moon was in Capricorn. Capricorn is the Architect of the Zodiac, focusing on structure, form, details, knowledge and boundaries. Often, I am inspired by architecture like amazing bridges or unbelievably tall buildings, or structures that seem to defy gravity. I ask myself, how did ‘they’ figure that out? How is that even possible? Someone with a creative imagination, skill and knowledge sat down and drew those building plans. They drew and edited, redrew, tested and redrew again until it was perfect. Because after all, if their calculations were wrong, people might die. The bridge or building could collapse, so it had to be right. They had to be right. We too build our lives, moment by moment, but not always with consciousness. Every choice we make creates our future. We can use all this Capricorn energy, of knowledge, diligence, perseverance and caution, to build OUR form, our lives. With attention to the details we can architect our lives moment by moment. This becomes especially important for this cycle because it is leading up to an eclipse at the end of the month. Eclipses often create major shifts and these shifts can happen up to 4 weeks in advance and 4 weeks after the actual eclipse. The upcoming Leo Lunar Eclipse will highlight ‘being bright.’ If you are bright and shiny but didn’t do the proper architectural planning , then your inner light may crumble and collapse under pressure. We have actually been working on the ‘being bright’ theme since July and August as this eclipse is related to the August eclipse and the two new moons in Leo this past July. So, it is possible for issues that surfaced this past summer to come to some sort of resolution now. In the very least, you may find a new level of understanding in the coming weeks. It is also worth mentioning that this Full Moon is the 2nd full moon this month, so it is a ‘blue moon’ and it also happens to be a ‘super moon’ meaning it is very close to earth. All of these factors combine to generate quite a bit of energy. If you want to read more about the New Moon, check out this blog.
